Historic rural estate in Riudefoix with hospitality potential

Discover the majestic Barony of Riudefoix, a living testament to the history of the Penedès lands, nestled at the foot of the serene Foix River. These unique properties (currently a total of 3 residences), with more than 2,000 m² built and 5,000 m² of land, stand surrounded by lush nature where the passage of the river and the song of the nightingale resonate.

History and character

Since the 12th century, the Barony of Riudefoix has been a stately possession: a jurisdictional domain granted to the baron, with the right to appoint a permanent bailiff and with cultivated lands. The main nucleus —the basilical-style farmhouse— has its origin in a mill mentioned as early as July 2, 1086.
